Michael Block: Do you remember going to that college exam and you're nervous? Why are you nervous? Well, you're nervous because you didn't study. So when you go to your golf tournament or golf outing or just playing against your friends and you're nervous, so the reason being is, because you probably haven't practiced enough and you don't feel like you prepared. Now, the way that I like to do it is—and I've learned after a couple of years playing golf—is that if I practice correctly and I come to the tournament prepared, I'm no longer nearly as nervous, and I'm actually confident. And I go into it more relaxed. And when I'm more relaxed, I play better.
Michael Block: So I hope this helps because the next time you're going to go play in the club championship, don't just expect to show up and play great. Start thinking about that club championship a month out, and create a practice routine, so by the time the club championship happens, you are fully prepared with confidence.
