Hole #7
-
Seven is a dead-straight hole, with a well-placed bunker on the right side of the fairway. Our strategy depends on the wind. We were downwind last year and we hit 5-wood, to stay short of the bunkers.
Start with one of the hardest shots in golf—a straight drive. This challenging hole requires a tee shot into a pinched landing area and a well-measured approach to an angled green. The front left hazard appears benign but will come into play with careless shots. Avoid the back left bunker.
