On 9, I like driver off the tee. You’re either in the fairway with a sand wedge, or playing out of the fairway bunkers, which are way better than the rough. The wind can play havoc here. Look at the flagpole above the clubhouse for wind direction, and try to time the gusts if it’s blowing hard.
On this very difficult par 4, keep your tee shot to the left because the trees on the right block most routes to a well-guarded green. Take plenty of club for your second shot as there is no room to miss short.
