Michael Block: Here I am faced with an uphill lie out of the bunker. Now, most of my members, when they roll up to these, they set up pretty square and level with their shoulders. And when your shoulders are level, you're going to swing too much into the mountain, right? And then you're going to stab against it. More than likely, there's not enough loft. You're going to hit the lip, and it's going to come back. You're going to make it a quick double.

Michael Block: So my big key on this is, I don't want to it play too far forward because that's adding more loft. It's not going to come up high enough. I don't really need to add the club face open either. I can keep it pretty square because I am on an uphill lie. So I'm going to put it pretty much square. But then the biggest part for me is, I'm going to put my weight distribution and my shoulders tilted to the slope in the bunker. Now, when I get in, I'm not going to swing into the slope. I'm going to swing level with the slope, pretending like it's actually a flat lie.

Michael Block: Next time you're in a bunker and you're faced with this uphill slope, tilt the shoulders with whatever that slope might be, and make your normal swing.
